What the platform does here
Deal flow straight from the programs
See founders in the program they’re part of, at the stage they’re actually at, before the round is public.
Most data providers scrape, and scraping only works on what’s already public. By the time a company appears in a database, it has been filed, announced or listed, and every fund you compete with has already picked through it. Warm intros are better, but they aren’t a system, and they arrive when somebody remembers you. Fresh deal flow exists only where the deal originates, in the program the founder is part of, and nobody has had a way to reach it there.
Find the founders that fit your thesis
Searching founders by stage, check size and vertical is coming soon.
AI compressed the build cycle, so more founders are starting more companies than at any point in history, and quality varies wildly. The hard part now is telling companies apart at speed. Your analysts read decks that all look the same and redo diligence somebody already did last round. The best company in the pile often doesn’t look like it, because its traction is buried under formatting.
A watch list for companies you saw too early
Mark the company that’s a year out and get notified when it hits your criteria. Watch and Notify is coming soon.
The company you saw twelve months too early is the one you never followed. There’s no system for it, so it lives in an analyst’s memory or a spreadsheet nobody opens. By the time it matures, somebody else has been in the room for a year. If you’ve followed a company since its program, you already know whether the round is real.
A Kanban board for your deal pipeline
Move a deal from prospect to committed, with stages, owners and conversation history attached. Pipeline is coming soon.
Deal management for most firms is a spreadsheet, an inbox and whoever remembers. Firms that go further buy a standalone deal tool, another silo outside the place where founders and programs actually work. Context has to be copied into it by hand and goes stale quickly.
Platform services without a platform team
Hand advisors, perks and curriculum to every company you back. You don’t have to negotiate the partnerships.
Portfolio support scales with somebody’s personal availability, usually the one person at the firm who isn’t an investor. Founders ask for the same introductions again and again, and the same perks get negotiated one company at a time. Proving the platform function earns its seat means rebuilding the case by hand every year.
